Thursday 10/9/08--The Day of At-one-ment

Today is the Jewish holy day about reflection, repentance and acceptance of awareness in order to be restored in alignment with the divinity of creation as we head into the new year's fertility cycle. It is always the day when the sun is in Libra, the romantic color of early autumn, looking forward with a fresh mind for love, beauty and harmony, and the moon is projected around to Aquarius, mid-winter in our seasonal cycle, the peak air sign where we are stripped to our seed essence and forced by pressure on all sides to settle at the heart of our minds amidst the pattern of life's interrelationship. It is as if acceptance of isolation in awareness is the key to being right with our core nature and getting through the coming winter, re-emerging in flowering fertility with the coming spring.

May we all accept the simplicity of being amidst all doing, settled with the feelings and thoughts and challenges that come with it, restored to peace, yielding in faith to the underlying support of creation as we face the opportunities and perils of a world in dynamic transition.
