Sunday 8/28/11--Virgo new moon

The last new moon of summer, in Virgo (8:04pm Pacific time), a convergence in ripening fruitfulness, a harvest of physical adjustment and situational resolution. We are letting go of what doesn't serve us, getting things in clarified order, ready for an autumn of renewal, this year with an emphasis on true love and harmony (Saturn in Libra).

With heavy power in grounded constructiveness (Pluto in Capricorn) and big creativity in peak spring flowering (Jupiter in Taurus), there is a solid core of planets in the three earth signs, giving strength to practical realism and the force of deep nature. With mental Mercury now moving forward again, it's a good time to settle in and take care of business, enjoying the bounty of our blessings, getting ready for good things to come, rooted in real needs, real strengths.

This is the harvest of consequence. Soon, a fresh start in the land of love.
