Sun reaches the highest point in our sky, the top of our seasonal roller coaster (solstice--3:07am PT), longest day of the year in the north, shifting to release of built up potential, joining mental Mercury in flowing feeling Cancer.  Moon, heart spirit, is in Libra, seeking harmony.

Physical nature power is reinforced, led by earthy wisdom (Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, Uranus in Taurus).  Emotional intensity is magnified, anchored by tender sensitivity (Jupiter in Scorpio, Neptune in Pisces).  Awareness of life's interrelationship is activated (Mars in Aquarius), energized by spiritual passion for love and beauty (opposite Venus with moon node in Leo).  Healing is emerging (Chiron in Aries).
