Friday 6/21/19--solstice/Cancer

Sun reaches solstice, highest point in our sky (8:54am PT), longest day of the year in the north, energy shifting from building potential to flowing release, in sensitive Cancer (with active Mars). It empowers new self healing (square Chiron in Aries).  

This year Moon, on its monthly cycle, is back in mid-winter of our seasonal process, essence alignment in awareness.  It will move through tender Pisces (joining deep feeling Neptune, turning retrograde today, on Sunday), spend next week building spring spirit, then meet the Sun over the top for Cancer new moon Tuesday 7/2, completing the solstice energy shift.

At a time when physical nature is reinforced (Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, Uranus in Taurus) and passion is amplified (Jupiter in Sagittarius), we are moving from emerging potential to a summer of dynamic expression.
