daylight pretend time

Nice to stop lying about what time it is, the clock always saying an hour later than we feel. Like most kids, I loved Daylight Saving Time, those later summer evenings. Turns out that happens naturally, changing the clock just confuses things. Year-round DST is not the answer. We tried it once in the 70s, and a huge percentage of the people who thought they wanted it ended up hating it, shocked at how dark it was in the morning, and didn’t make late summer evenings last year round. Would be easier and healthier to adjust schedules to take advantage of the changing light and leave the clocks alone. It’s time to stop this disorienting charade. In California we voted to give the power to the state legislature, but they haven't acted on it. Email your state senator: End Daylight Saving Time.
