Pluto into Capricorn

We have reached a major turning point in the tides of nature on this planet.

On November 26, at 6:42pm Pacific time, Pluto, the 248-year-cycle planet of deep, transformative power, reached the bottom of our seasonal cycle and moved into the Capricorn, the primal force of constructive new beginnings, for the first time since 1762. This is hugely historic, with consequences that could remake our world.

The last time this happened, America was born. The "Seven Years War" for global empire ended, and people everywhere were inspired with artful inventiveness and the democratic liberty to express it. Now, after years as a heavy influence, Pluto will align with the ground of deep nature for a time of empowered renewal. It could bring trauma and disruption, the collapse of structures based on tension and control, the unleashing of passions held in check, but it will also strengthen underlying substance, stabilizing a new foundation rooted in reality, supporting new relationships based in organic development. The divinity of nature is reclaiming humanity, breaking through resistance with the power of a flower.

I don't know what will happen. Expansive Jupiter is in constructive Capricorn, and centering Saturn is in practical Virgo. All this new earth power is being guided toward a fruitful harvest. Next year, creative Jupiter will move into visionary Aquarius, joining the alignment of healing Chiron and deep feeling Neptune there. Creativity, healing, and dreams will meet in the enlightened perspective of life's interrelationship. This is what will sustain us. We must accept the magic of creation and settle with peace in awareness amidst it.

At Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27, the heart spirit of the moon aligns with the soul vitality of the sun at the low ebb of our seasonal cycle, Sagittarius new moon. Deep mind Uranus is completing months of internalizing in vulnerable, sensitive Pisces, ready to lead the way with spiritual wisdom. The moon hits bottom, joining Pluto in Capricorn, on Saturday, at 9:48am. The sun will reach there, winter solstice in the north, on Sunday, December 21, at 4:04am.

The Capricorn new moon on Saturday, December 27, at 4:23am, with Pluto, Jupiter and Mars also in Capricorn, completes this historic transition. A new era grounded in the power of deep nature will have begun.
