We've reached a major turning point in the launching of this transformative year. Energy that's been personally challenging--internalized love passion building in pressure, deep sensitivity getting to us--is now shifting to dynamic emergence with concrete consequences.

Today the heart spirit has joined heavy power rebounding in the grounded constructiveness at the bottom of things (moon with Pluto in Capricorn), just as the action impulse has aligned with revolutionary mind in vulnerable feeling (Mars with Uranus in Pisces). So far in the early weeks of spring (Aries), the light of love has been backtracking and internalizing (Venus retrograde), building pressure inside us about where harmony will come from. On Friday 4/17 (12:24pm Pacific time) that process is complete in tender sensitivity (Pisces), and the built-up love energy starts to move forward and outward again (Venus direct). At the same time, action (Mars) charged with spiritual wisdom (aligning with Uranus in Pisces) will now lead the way toward something new.

On Tuesday 4/21 (4:19pm Pacific time) action meets love in tenderness (Mars meets Venus in Pisces), and over the next few days will, along with heart spirit (moon), emerge into the passion of spring expression (Aries). This will happen just as the sun's vitality moves into mid-spring, the earthy manifestation of flowering fertility (Taurus). Creative healing dreams are anchoring us in the visionary perspective of the enlightened mind (Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune are aligning in Aquarius), with revolutionary wisdom in vulnerable sensitivity (Uranus in Pisces). The Taurus new moon weekend of April 25 should be a festival celebration of planetary renewal rooted in the miracle of nature.

This is a year of historically reinforced primal power and enlightened awareness, with great potential for healthy personal and global transformation, however punctuated it may be with tensions breaking, conflicts flairing, old ways failing. There is potential for nightmare where threats have been building for years, but this, sadly, is part of our purification. We are completing a long era of sensitivity dominated by exploitation and control, moving into one based in genuine humanity and the divinity of organic interdependence.
