Saturday 7/30/11--Leo new moon

New moon in Leo, mid-summer, the peak of passion (11:40am Pacific time). It will build toward big release at the full moon Saturday 8/13.

Mercury goes retrograde for a few weeks Tuesday 8/2 (8:50pm), mind turning reflective, undermining momentum, increasing magical connections if we give in to changes. At the same time, the action impulse of Mars shifts from building mentality in Gemini to outflowing emotional release in Cancer Wednesday 8/3 (2:22am), drawing on deep feeling healing in tender sensitivity (trine Neptune and Chiron in Pisces), with heavy power in grounded nature force (opposite Pluto in Capricorn).

According to the Mayan Calendar, 7/31 to 8/17 is the fifth of seven energy pulses we go through in this year's ninth and final wave of evolutionary intensification.
