Tuesday 6/21/11--solstice

Summer solstice in the north, the sun at its highest point for the year. Everything that's been building and emerging will now shift to outflowing development, especially after the new moon on July 1. This year it involves earthy creativity, grounding in love, healing dreams in tender sensitivity, and revolutionary expression of transformative power.

Monday 6/13/11

For months we have been tested in our relationship with love and harmony. That process is now complete, and we move into a summer of revolutionary transformation.

Friday 6/10/11

Sun in mental Gemini, building toward resolution and release (summer solstice June 21), as the heart spirit of the Moon moves into the love awareness of Libra (Thursday 3:31pm Pacific time), demanding real harmony (conjunct Saturn 9:00am Friday). Moon into the emotional intensity of Scorpio Saturday night.

The centering influence of Saturn is completing months of backtracking and internalizing in love-minded Libra (ends retrograde Sunday 8:52pm). After all it has put us through, we will now start to move forward with a strong sense of true love need.

Moon getting down to the bottom of things, into Sagittarius, Monday and Tuesday, full there Wednesday 1:14pm. It hits bottom, rebounding with the primal earth power of Capricorn, late Wednesday night (10:59pm). We begin the shift to a summer of big, transformative development.

Wednesday 6/1/11--Gemini new moon

Sun and Moon meet in Gemini (2:03pm Pacific time), the mental perspective near the top of our seasonal roller coaster, centered in the need for harmony (trine Saturn retrograde in Libra).

The shift of the Moon into Cancer on Friday (1:39am), after deep feeling has begun internalizing in tender sensitivity (Neptune retrograde in Pisces 7:06pm Thursday), brings a release of built-up emotional energy. Sunday it moves into passionate Leo, Tuesday into fruitful Virgo.

After emerging into Aries for the first time in 12 years on January 22, big, expansive Jupiter progresses into the peak earth power of Taurus on June 4, trine heavy Pluto in primal Capricorn. A time of great physicality begins. The transformative developments of the coming year will have creative power rooted in the force of nature. The Chinese call it The Year of the Dragon.
