For the weekend--Sun in Libra, loving attitude, Moon in Aquarius, peak awareness.
Libra, early autumn in the north, when the seasonal balance tips toward night and cooling, romantic sunset for the year. We look forward in harmony as we begin a new year of fertility.
The Hebrew bible follows a lunar calendar, new moon to new moon, adding an extra month every few years to keep it in line with the seasons. I think they should have added one this year. The festival of renewal, Rosh Hashana, called for "the first day of the seventh month" (since spring), should have been at the Libra new moon on Saturday October 5, beginning a ten day period of reflection that culminates when the Moon is in Aquarius, this year on Monday October 14, Yom Kippur, the Day of At-one-ment.
Accepting alignment in awareness, we are reconciled with our essence, key to moving through the coming winter and emerging with the flowering of spring.
