In a time of passion (Sun in Leo), deep mind has turned inward, reflective (Uranus retrograde in Aries, until 12/29). Built up mentality shifts to flowing sensitivity Saturday (Moon in Gemini, into Cancer 2:09pm PDT). Midsummer peak energy breakout Tuesday (Leo new moon 1:44pm PDT).

Tuesday 7/19/16--full moon

First full moon of summer, 3:56pm PDT. With Sun completing a month in Cancer, emotional sensitivity, Moon is full in Capricorn, grounding at the bottom of things, rebounding with primal power rooted in core needs.

The Sun will now move through Leo, peak fire sign, mid-summer in the north, famous for historic events where heat that's been building breaks out, with transformative consequence. Leo new moon turning point 8/2, full moon power alignment 8/18.

Thursday 7/14/16

A peak of intensified sensitivity (Sun in Cancer, Moon with Mars in Scorpio, Neptune in Pisces--grand trine in water signs).

The recent few days of passion breaking out, releasing true humanity (Moon moving through Leo), is a preview of where we're headed in the next month (Sun moving through Leo).

Monday 7/4/16--Cancer new moon

Moon joins Sun over the top of our seasonal cycle, in Cancer, the release flowing feeling, Sunday 7/3, 6:20am PDT. They meet there, Cancer new moon, Monday 7/4, 4:01am PDT, aligned with deep sensitivity and emotional expression (trine Neptune in Pisces and Mars in Scorpio), energized by deep nature power and passionate self-assertion (square Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries). The solstice shift is complete. Fruitful creativity leads the way (Jupiter in Virgo).

The American Revolution was about liberty, the right to freely express our nature without imposed control, conflict resolved democratically, with equal regard for all. Independence was just the bluff we called. The challenge of pluralistic democracy, beyond the manipulations of greedy businessmen, remains unresolved, potential for enlightenment unfulfilled. It is coming to a head in our time.
