Thursday 3/21/19--Spring/Aries full moon

First day of spring, full moon kicking it off.  Earthy energy empowering emergence of primal nature.  Mind reflective.  Passion amplified.  Healing leads the way.  New moon 4/5 completes transition to flowering renewal.

Wednesday 3/20/19--equinox/full moon

Spring in the north begins with a full moon this year.  Reaching the seasonal balance point, Sun crosses from Pisces sensitivity to Aries emergence 2:59pm PT, Moon from practical Virgo to loving Libra 6:28pm PT, full 6:43pm PT.  Energy that's been building will now be coming out, seeking harmony.

Reinforced earth power is activated (Mars with Uranus in Taurus trine Pluto with Saturn in Capricorn).  Passion is amplified (Jupiter in Sagittarius).  Deep feeling anchors us in vulnerability (Neptune in Pisces), mind reflective amidst it (Mercury retrograde til 3/29).  Beauty shows life's interdependence (Venus in Aquarius).  Healing leads the way (49-year cycle Chiron now in Aries).

In one month we will come full circle, a second Aries/Libra full moon 4/19 ("blue moon").  In a time of revolutionary transformation, genuine humanity serves true self-interest.

Monday 3/18/19

The last days of winter.  Sun in sensitive Pisces (with deep feeling Neptune and Mercury retrograde), Moon building toward full in peak passion Leo (planets in all three fire signs).  Moon into practical Virgo tonight (planets in all three earth signs).  

A big shift Wednesday.  Sun at spring equinox, into Aries self-expression (2:59pm PT), Moon into harmony-seeking Libra, full there (6:43pm PT).  At a time of earthy energy and amplified passion, spring begins with a powerful full moon.

natural is best

Like most kids, I loved Daylight Saving Time, setting the clocks ahead an hour to enjoy more light in the evening.  Turns out the days get longer naturally, sun setting later and rising earlier--changing the clocks just throws things off, makes you feel like you're running behind.  We'd be better off leaving the clocks alone and adjusting schedules where appropriate to take advantage of the daylight.  Keeping DST year round is not the answer.  You can change the clocks, but not your feeling for where we are in the progression of the day.  It's never good to lie about the truth of nature.  Please let's stop this disorienting craziness.

Thursday 3/7/19

Saturating sensitivity (Pisces new moon with Neptune).  Earthy energy (Uranus into Taurus with Mars, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn).  Mind reflective (Mercury retrograde).  Healing breaking out (Chiron into Aries).  Spring emergence begins (Moon into Aries 12:27pm PT, Sun into Aries/full moon 3/20.)

Wednesday 3/6/19--Pisces new moon

Last new moon of winter.  Sun, Moon, and deep feeling Neptune meet in the tender sensitivity of Pisces, anchoring us in this (new moon 8:04am PT, Sun meets Neptune 5:01pm PT).  Mental Mercury is retrograde (until 3/28), undermining momentum with reflection--nothing wrong with this if we are flexible, go with changes.

Revolutionary Uranus, in Aries passion since 2011, has now progressed into Taurus, peak earth power.  With physical nature historically reinforced (Saturn, Pluto, and soon Jupiter in Capricorn), we are guided toward flowering fertility. 

At the new moon in Aries next month, Sun and Moon will join 49-year cycle Chiron, there after years in vulnerable Pisces--a new spring for emerging healing.

Tuesday 3/5/19--Pisces/Mercury retrograde

Mind slows to a stop, turning reflective for a few weeks (Mercury retrograde 10:19am PT), just as we complete late winter saturating sensitivity (Pisces new moon Wednesday 8:04am PT).  Soon, spring emergence (Sun into Aries 3/20).
