Scorpio, the magnetic vortex of undeniable feeling, this year with heavy power getting down to the bottom of things.

At the Scorpio new moon on Tuesday October 28th at 4:14pm, heart and soul align in magnetic intensity: sensitivity, sexuality, spirituality. On Wednesday, heart meets activating expression there, blending with deep mind in vulnerable feeling (moon with Mars in Scorpio 3:17pm Pacific time, trine Uranus in Pisces 6:01pm). At this time of intensified emotion, we don't get the benefits of wisdom unless we accept our vulnerability. Thursday and Friday, heart gets down to the warm spirit at the bottom of things, for Halloween (moon in Sagittarius), as action blends with deep mind in feeling (Mars trine Uranus in water signs 1:32pm). This is the alignment for Election Day, Tuesday: soul magnetized with emotional intensity, heart grounded in practical realism.

2008 is a year of historic power shifting, with energized creativity and, after November 27, heavy transformation moving into the concrete expression of deep nature (12-year-cycle Jupiter and 248-year cycle Pluto into Capricorn), with the centering influence guiding us toward a truly fruitful outcome (30-year-cycle Saturn in Virgo). In a world of upheaval, the practical solution requires comfort with tender sensitivity. Thursday 10/9/08--The Day of At-one-ment

Today is the Jewish holy day about reflection, repentance and acceptance of awareness in order to be restored in alignment with the divinity of creation as we head into the new year's fertility cycle. It is always the day when the sun is in Libra, the romantic color of early autumn, looking forward with a fresh mind for love, beauty and harmony, and the moon is projected around to Aquarius, mid-winter in our seasonal cycle, the peak air sign where we are stripped to our seed essence and forced by pressure on all sides to settle at the heart of our minds amidst the pattern of life's interrelationship. It is as if acceptance of isolation in awareness is the key to being right with our core nature and getting through the coming winter, re-emerging in flowering fertility with the coming spring.

May we all accept the simplicity of being amidst all doing, settled with the feelings and thoughts and challenges that come with it, restored to peace, yielding in faith to the underlying support of creation as we face the opportunities and perils of a world in dynamic transition.
