Friday 10/22/10--Libra full moon (blue moon)

Libra, early autumn in the north, the beginning of a new fertility cycle, ends this year as it began, with a full moon in the personal passion of Aries, a true blue moon (two in a calendar month is mere amusement). With centering Saturn in Libra for the first time in 30 years, awareness of our relationship to love is profound.

It's also a time of intensified emotion, with our sense of beauty turning inward in peak feeling and an activated expression of deep mind in vulnerable sensitivity (Venus retrograde in Scorpio, with Mars in Scorpio trine retrograde Jupiter and Uranus in Pisces). In the coming month we will move through the magnetic vortex of Scorpio as we complete a rite of passage in tender wisdom (Jupiter and Uranus in Pisces). It is preparation for next spring's creative emergence of revolutionary passion (Jupiter and Uranus into Aries).

With an undercurrent of activated emotion, this year's Libra, undeniably reinforced, sparked by two full moons, has empowered us with a sense of real love and where it comes from. We are launched on a new adventure in this.

In a time of reinforced love awareness, anchoring us in the need for real harmony (sun in Libra with Saturn), we have just moved through isolating alignment in our essence, engaging our oldest wounds and deepest dreams (moon in Aquarius with Chiron and Neptune), complete Sunday morning. This has forced us into right relationship with our core nature as we begin a new year of fertility, heading into the test of winter survival toward a new spring of flowering renewal. (I believe this weekend is when Jews should have celebrated the holy Day of At-one-ment this year.)

Now, a turn to tenderness (moon into Pisces Sunday 7:52pm Pacific time), moving into passion Wednesday (moon into Aries 8:23am), a full moon there Friday (a blue moon--a second Libra/Aries full moon--6:37pm).

We are being empowered in our yearning for love as we move through healing transformation.

After a few days of intensified feeling (moon in Scorpio with Venus and Mars, peaking Saturday), spirit getting down to the bottom of things (moon in Sagittarius), hitting bottom with primal power Tuesday night (moon into Capricorn with Pluto 9:17pm Pacific time).

Thursday 10/7/10--Libra new moon

A fresh start in the land of love.

With centering Saturn in loving Libra for the first time in 30 years, the Libra new moon at 11:44am PT Thursday 10/7, energized by heavy Pluto in primal Capricorn, begins a time when the demand for true harmony is undeniable. Though this could unleash the energy of stored tensions that are no longer tolerable, even that will be part of a new era in conciliation and renewal, whatever we must go through to get there.

Heart, soul, mind and grounding are together in love awareness, charged with deep, transformative power rooted in the force of nature (Moon, Sun, Mercury and Saturn together in Libra, square Pluto in Capricorn). We are looking forward with a deep sense of where harmony comes from, beginning a new adventure in this. Young spirit in peak feeling leads the way (Mars and Venus meeting in Scorpio), with expansive wisdom in vulnerable sensitivity (Jupiter and Uranus meeting in Pisces) and healing dreams in awareness of life's interrelationship (Chiron and Neptune meeting in Aquarius).

Giving in to creation is the key to salvation. The grace of divinity is a gift that guides us.
