Summer 2013

The big, creative energy of Jupiter has gone over the top of our seasonal cycle into Cancer, the release of flowing feeling (6/26). Core sensitivity is intensified (trine Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces), strongest the week of July 17. The mental tide is now backtracking, reflective, like undertow (Mercury retrograde), until 7/20. A big wave of emotion is building, and being activated (Mars into Cancer 7/13), energized with primal power ready to emerge (opposite Pluto in Capricorn, square Uranus in Aries).

In August, the creative force of Jupiter, fully charged with emotional spirit, reaches peak energizing alignment with the deep nature power and revolutionary expression that are transforming life on this planet (opposite Pluto in Capricorn 8/7, square Uranus in Aries 8/21). The energy released from this could bring upheaval. It is the magnified power of nature breaking through a controlling order with the vitality of organic interrelationship. This is the key to healthy humanity.

We must give in to creation at every moment, settled with peace amidst it, and see what happens.

The Sun at the top of our seasonal roller coaster, longest day of the year in the north (6/20, 10:04pm PDT). Big, creative energy, having reached the peak of built-up potential (Sun with Jupiter in Gemini), now shifts to outflowing expression (Sun into Cancer, Jupiter following 6/25).

At a time when reinforced physical nature is activating the emergence of revolutionary wisdom (Pluto in Capricorn square Uranus in Aries), the pull of deepest feeling is undeniable (Saturn in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces). A great wave of energized power will now release, transforming life on this planet, unleashing the tenderness of genuine humanity.

The power of nature is breaking through all resistance. This is good, though it could bring upheaval. Our challenge is to give in at every moment to the peace of grace amidst the swirling storm and see where the magic of creation leads us.
